Gruppe Pottery

My name is Christie Gruppe and I am the creative force behind Gruppe Pottery.  

I make functional pottery intended to bring a sense of fun and whimsy to everyday life. The garden has always inspired the textures, forms and colours in my work.  My current work explores simple forms allowing them to act as a canvas for the play of colour, using the palette of the summer garden as a muse. I also bring whimsy to the world with accessories for your home that bring joy and a smile to your world.

There is a wonderful sensory celebration when food is lovingly prepared and shared with family and friends; presented as an offering on handmade pottery. I intend for my pottery to find pride of place on your dining table and in your home! I believe in the connection between maker and user and the JOY handmade pottery brings to our daily lives.
