Melina has won several awards, sold work in pop-up shows & galleries, and has featured jewellery in international publications.
Melina is an artist, designer, jeweller, and maker. Creativity is her passion and using her imagination is a key component in her everyday life. With a background in painting and graphic design, she leverages her creative skills to form precious metals into one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.
Melina has an honours degree in Fine Arts from the University of Guelph and formal goldsmithing training in Jewellery Arts from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario. While studying, Melina launched her brand NAKIIT and has continued to nurture and grow her handmade small business ever since.
