108 mala project

We are Cara and Adam, the founders of 108 Mala Project, a socially responsible brand dedicated to crafting hand-knotted 108-bead mala necklaces and wrist malas for meditation, mindfulness, and self-care. Our journey began with 15 years living in Asia, where we immersed ourselves in Buddhist teachings, stayed in monasteries, and studied traditional mala knotting techniques under the guidance of monks. Now based in Ontario, our mission is to share the transformative power of malas, helping people cultivate inner peace, reduce stress, and enhance their meditation practice.

Each mala we create is hand-knotted with intention, using numerology principles to amplify its energetic frequency. As Reiki Masters, we infuse every mala with positive energy, reciting a mantra with each bead to ensure that every piece is charged with mindfulness, purpose, and healing vibrations. Our malas are designed not just as jewelry but as tools to support mental wellness, spiritual growth, and emotional balance helping with PTSD, insomnia, anxiety, and depression.

We are committed to using only high-quality, ethically sourced materials, including Canadian gemstones from regions we have personally explored.

We are honored to bring the sacred art of mala-making to Ontario, weaving meditation, mindfulness, and healing into every piece. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.
