Serenity Soaps is a small, heart-led business based in Guelph, Ontario, created and operated by Linda Boyle. For over 14 years, Linda has been handcrafting soaps and bath products, and for the past seven years, she has also shared her passion by teaching others the art of traditional cold process soapmaking.
Having lived in Guelph her entire life, Linda feels deeply connected to its creative spirit and thriving artisan community. Being part of this local maker culture is something she truly values and celebrates through her work.
Serenity Soaps began from a simple, personal place—the desire to use products that were gentler, safer, and more nourishing for herself and her family. After discovering the benefits of handmade soap, it quickly became clear that others were searching for the same thoughtful, natural alternatives. From that moment, Serenity Soaps was born.
Each bar of soap is carefully handcrafted in small batches using quality plant-based oils and butters, and is now completely palm oil-free. Most products are vegan-friendly, with the exception of goat milk and beeswax honey soaps. Using the traditional cold process method, every bar is cured for a minimum of four to six weeks, resulting in a long-lasting, luxurious lather.
What truly sets Serenity Soaps apart is the artistic approach behind each creation. Linda designs every bar by pairing colour and pattern with fragrance—often closing her eyes, breathing in the scent, and imagining what it would look like. This intuitive process sometimes leads to unique fragrance blends and always results in one-of-a-kind designs.
In addition to soaps, Serenity Soaps offers a range of complementary bath and body products, including bath bombs, bathing salts, and shower steamers. Each product is made with simple, uncomplicated ingredients to ensure a soothing and enjoyable experience.
