dog gone gear has been making cute dogs cuter since 2021!
Karen is the maker and creator behind dog gone gear. Inspired by her rescue dog Clark, she handmakes dog collars, bandanas, flowers and bow ties, as well as custom designed and individually created shirts for dog lovers. Every single item is made in her home studio in Stouffville, Ontario.
dog gone gear started out at the height of COVID during a lockdown. Clark was sick with a tooth infection, and drooling uncontrollably. Do deal with his drool Karen dressed him in her own buffs and bandanas. He was so cute, and he loved wearing them. After he was well, Karen went in search of dog specific bandanas. She didn't love what she found, so she decided to try out her sewing skills from over 30 years ago, and poof: dog gone gear started!
You can shop dog gone gear in person at markets mostly in Ontario, but they also pop up in other areas of Canada. You can also shop them online through their website and purchases can be shipped anywhere in North America.
