I am an textile designer/artist, 75% of my pieces are made by upcycling old garments, like vintage tweed jackets and coats, needlework, blue jeans, lace, repurposing vintage textiles.

These will be the items I will present at the Fair November 2024:

1. One of a kind upcycled tweed shoulder/crossbody bags

 - I upcycle tweed/wool jackets and coats into bags. Each one is uniquely designed, keeping most of the original features of the garment: pockets, seams, lining, the lapel being transformed into a strap. Each bag has a unique felt/tweed applique. I make 3 bags from 1 jacket!

2. Upcycled denim bags - I make bags from jeans - each one with its own design

3. Cotton canvas aprons with batik applique or needlework/denim inserts

All are wearable textile art - humans can be better displays than walls!
